Purpose:
This project is designed to demonstrate how research findings and theories in adolescent development can be used in the classroom. I have used course concepts to reveal my understanding of developmental standards. The subject matter that will be taught is mathematics, particularly pre-algebra/algebra. The age of the student taught will range from eleven to fifteen.
How to navigate the website:
When the cursor slides over "concepts" a list will appear. If one is clicked, it will take the user to that specific concept. The "reflection" section is a personal interpretation of the Developmental Standards. The "reference" section is citations of the concepts and Developmental Standards.
